Sept 26 — Students from both UNT and TWU attended this event. The panel of three professors talked about their own faith journeys when they were college students, the pressures within academia, and how students can be a witness to their professors by their excellent work and kind demeanor.

Francis Collins’ Booklets Available Soon
Collins was the director of the Human Genome Project and now is the head of the National Institute of Health (NIH). In this chapter he tells his story of going from an atheistic childhood and adulthood to discover the existence of, and his need for, the God who created him.
This summer Faculty Commons was able to secure permission for an additional printing. The initial printing was distributed last year; however, there will soon be copies for you to give to colleagues on campus. Let us know if you would like one or more.

Keller addresses these questions that people often ask (or want to):
- There can’t be one true religion.
- I don’t think if God exists he would allow such suffering.
- The Bible isn’t historically reliable.
- Science has disproved Christianity.

Nancy DiMarco has been a professor of nutrition at TWU for many years, the director of the Center for Women’s Health, a wife and mom of three.. She helped start sports dietetics and has former students running sport dietetics programs all over the country.
