He will be speaking on “Lost In Translation.” He explains: “Those of us who are both Christians and in the academy often find that we have a work vocabulary and a church vocabulary with little overlap. This presents a challenge when talking about our faith in the academy and about our calling in the church. I will discuss my own experiences while drawing on those of the audience for a discussion of how to bridge these divides.”

He will speak in person at the Business Leadership Building (BLB).

He will be available by Zoom at other UNT campuses.

He joined the Department of Mathematics at SMU in 2000 after 11 years as a professor at Tulane University. At SMU he is one of the leaders of the Faculty Staff Christian Fellowship.
